Countywide Tree Removal, Maintenance, and Pruning

Background
The City of Jacksonville is seeking a pre-qualified supplier to provide tree removal, maintenance, and pruning services across fifteen specified addresses. This initiative is part of the city's effort to maintain urban forestry and enhance community aesthetics.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for removing trees marked with an orange 'X' or red 'X'/circle in the provided specifications. The removal process includes cutting stumps as close to grade as feasible, especially where stumps are adjacent to fences, which should be cut to fence height or lower.

All debris must be removed offsite and disposed of in compliance with city ordinances and policies. Notably, stump grinding is not permitted. The trees must be removed within 60 days of notification of the winning bid.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution of the purchase order or contract and will continue until the completion and acceptance of the stated scope of work.

The services will be performed at the specified addresses within Jacksonville, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally authorized to do business in Duval County and comply with all minimum requirements for this bid. Proof of applicable local business licenses and relevant experience on similar projects is required. Additionally, bidders must certify that no official or employee of the City has a material financial interest in their company. Bidders are encouraged to utilize Jacksonville Small and Emerging Businesses (JSEBs) in their contract awards.
