Construction Management (CM) Services for Modular Medical Units

Background
The State of Florida, Department of Corrections, Bureau of Procurement is seeking qualifications from Construction Management (CM) Firms to provide services for prefabricated modular medical units at two locations: Lowell Correctional Institution in Ocala, Florida, and South Florida Reception Center in Doral, Florida.

The project aims to enhance medical facilities within the correctional system. Firms must include a licensed General Contractor in Florida and be registered to operate in the state.

Work Details
The selected Firm will provide professional CM services for the design, pre-construction, and construction phases of prefabricated modular medical units. The total project budget is approximately $25,760,000.00.

Responsibilities include providing an initial guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for design construction budget requests and final GMP. The scope includes all necessary professional services related to the project as outlined in Attachment I of the RFQual.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon selection and is expected to align with the Department's Fiscal Year 24/25 budget for design-build and pre-construction services.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at:
- Lowell Correctional Institution located at 11120 NW Gainesville Rd., Ocala, Florida 34482-1479
- South Florida Reception Center located at 14000 NW 41st Street, Doral, Florida 33178-3003.
