Clyde E. Lassen Svnh Six (6) Patio Roofs Replacement

Background
The Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs (FDVA) is issuing this solicitation for the Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans’ Nursing Home located at 4650 State Road 16, St. Augustine, FL 32092. The goal of this contract is to establish an agreement for the removal and replacement of six patio roofs, ensuring that all work meets the satisfaction and acceptance of FDVA and relevant authorities within a specified timeframe.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, services, equipment, tools, materials, parts, and supplies required to successfully remove and replace six patio roofs. This includes:

1. Demolition:
- Remove existing damaged tile roofs, underlayment decking, insulation materials, metal decking, drywall ceilings, and metal ceiling frames for each patio with proper disposal.
- Ensure protection for floors, walls, doors, screens, grass, and sidewalks during demolition.

2. Surface Preparation:
- Wire brush damaged paint on exposed blocks above the stucco line and paint to match existing walls.
- Grind away rust on main beams and apply Silver-Brite® Heavy Duty Rust Resistant Aluminum Paint.

3. Installation of New Metal Roof:
- Install a new standing seam waterproof Aluminum Snap-N-Lock™ Structural Insulated Panel roof in Ivory Cedar color with no exposed fasteners.
- Ensure proper isolation between metals using protective coatings or insulating washers.

4. Interior Work:
- Remove damaged drywall ceilings and apply stucco to exposed block areas.
- Paint interior walls with Sherwin Williams ProMar 400 Zero VOC Interior Latex Paint or equivalent.

5. Soffit Installation:
- Frame beneath metal beams to install a vinyl soffit on the underside of the ceiling.

6. Disposal Requirements:
- Establish an on-site disposal area as designated by FDVA Contract Manager and arrange for a dumpster while protecting landscaping.

7. Noise Considerations:
- High noise work will be conducted between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of the Agreement’s full execution.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans’ Nursing Home located at 4650 State Road 16, St. Augustine, FL 32092 (St. Johns County).
