Citywide Fire Protection / Inspection / Testing / Installation / Engineering & Design Services Of Fire Alarm Systems

Background
The City of Coral Springs, Florida, is seeking proposals for citywide fire protection services. This includes the inspection, testing, installation, repair, and engineering and design of fire alarm systems at city-owned facilities. The goal is to ensure life safety and compliance with fire codes across all city properties.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive services including:

1) Scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspections and testing of fire alarm systems, sprinklers, fire pumps, portable extinguishers, suppression systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, and kitchen hood systems.

2) Responsive repair services for emergency and non-emergency conditions with defined response times.

3) Accurate documentation of inspections and corrective actions taken.

4) Compliance with NFPA codes and the Florida Fire Prevention Code.

Specific locations include the Public Safety Building, Tennis Center, Aquatics Complex, various Fire Stations, and more. The contractor must hold valid licenses as a State Certified Electrical Contractor or Alarm Contractor.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue until June 3, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various city-owned facilities throughout Coral Springs, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of licensure as a State Certified Electrical Contractor or Alarm Contractor in Florida. They must also submit documentation of all required licenses with their proposal response.
