Citywide Continuous Asphalt Resurfacing Program - North

Background
The City of Jacksonville, Florida is issuing a solicitation for the Citywide Continuous Asphalt Resurfacing Program - North. This program aims to enhance the city's infrastructure by resurfacing existing roadways and improving accessibility through various construction activities. Work Details
The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to mill and resurface existing roadways, construct full depth asphalt widening strips, apply asphalt pavement to prepared base, construct/reconstruct ADA ramps, remove and reconstruct existing concrete curb and gutter and driveways, perform related shoulder work, and improve/maintain existing drainage swales.

All operations must comply with the specifications outlined in the bid documents.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over an initial period of one year with three optional one-year renewals, subject to approval by both the supplier and the City of Jacksonville.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted within the City of Jacksonville, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally authorized to do business in Duval County and comply with all minimum requirements for this bid. They must provide proof of applicable local business licenses and be on the approved pre-qualified bidders list under the Horizontal category with the City of Jacksonville.

Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize Jacksonville Small and Emerging Businesses (JSEBs) in their proposals.
