City Wide Street Paving - RFB

Background
The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform City Wide Street Paving as needed. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and improvement of city streets, enhancing the overall infrastructure and safety for residents and visitors. The City aims to engage experienced contractors who can fulfill the requirements outlined in the solicitation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various street paving tasks including but not limited to:

- Emergency Mobilization
- Re-Mobilization
- Clearing and Grubbing
- Mill thicknesses (1.5", 2", 3")
- Profile Milling
- Asphalt Pavement Leveling
- Brick Pavement Removal and Restoration
- Stabilized Subgrade preparation
- Roadway/Curb and Gutter Base construction
- Crack Sealing
- Micro-surfacing applications (single and double)
- Full Depth Reclamation
- Emulsion application for FDR
- Underdrain Installation
- Sign installation and relocation
- Tree Removal
- Maintenance of Traffic.

Specific quantities for each task are provided in the bid documents.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence immediately following contract execution and must be completed within three (3) years from that date. There is an option to renew for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout the City of St. Pete Beach, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have extensive experience in street paving projects. They are required to submit a signed/notarized Contractor’s Bid Submittal along with a Fee Schedule, References, Contractor’s license, and insurance certificates. Bidders must also comply with all local licensing requirements and provide documentation of permits prior to project commencement.
