City Wide Street Paving - RFB

Background
The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform City Wide Street Paving as needed. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure of the city by ensuring that streets are properly paved and maintained, contributing to the overall safety and accessibility for residents and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to complete the scope of work which includes street paving throughout the city. Specific tasks include:

- Emergency Mobilization
- Re-Mobilization
- Clearing and Grubbing
- Various thickness milling (1.5", 2", 3")
- Profile Milling
- SP9.5 Base Course
- SP12.5 Base Course
- Asphalt Pavement Leveling
- Brick Pavement Removal and Restoration
- Stabilized Subgrade preparation
- Crack Sealing
- Micro-surfacing applications (single and double)
- Full Depth Reclamation
- Various sidewalk replacements and removals
- Traffic control measures including variable message boards
- Tree removal
- Sign installation and relocation
- Maintenance of traffic during construction.

Detailed specifications require that each paving event outline all items paved including locations and cross streets.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence immediately following contract execution and must be completed within three (3) years from that date. There is an option to renew for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout the City of St. Pete Beach, Florida.
