Background
Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to replace the expiring CCTV-LAN Cabling Services contract (20178-DST-IV), which will end on August 09, 2026.
The goal of this solicitation is to award multiple vendors across three geographic service zones: East, West, and Central, to ensure efficient service delivery for the installation and maintenance of cabling services.
Work Details
The services required under this contract include but are not limited to:

Period of Performance
The initial contract term will commence after Board approval and will last until the last day of the first anniversary month, with options for up to four additional one-year renewals based on budget appropriations and performance.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Hillsborough County, Florida, specifically in schools assigned within the East, West, and Central geographic service zones.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of a current Florida Electrical Contractors License (ES or higher) and Florida ICC certifications.
They must also have sufficient personnel, materials, transportation, and tools necessary for performing the work.
The contractor must comply with all safety requirements during operations and ensure that no work proceeds without proper authorization from HCPS.
