Description

The City of Cocoa Beach is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Janitorial Services. The exact nature and magnitude of services that may be requested is listed in Exhibit A (Scope of Services) in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP package may be obtained on the City's website at www.cityofcocoabeach.com/bids.aspx. The City will receive proposals at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 2 South Orlando Ave., Cocoa Beach FL 32931 until 2:00 PM local time, on Friday, August 8th , 2025 for this project. At the time, date, and place given above, the proposal submissions close. Submissions will be publicly recorded. Late submissions will not be accepted. The Project Manager or designee will be the official authority for determining late bids
Background
The City of Cocoa Beach is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Janitorial Services under contract number CB25-008. The City aims to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in its facilities, which include the City Hall, Police Station, and Fire Station 51.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide janitorial services including but not limited to:

- Weekly cleaning tasks such as dusting surfaces and vacuuming carpets.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue until August 8th, 2025. There is a firm proposal period of ninety (90) days from the date of public opening.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at three locations: City Hall, Police Station, and Fire Station 51 in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. They are required to have a Drug-Free Workplace program in place. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage including Workers’ Compensation and General Liability Insurance as specified in the RFP.
