Carlin Park Lifeguard Building-Interior Renovations (RE-BID)

Background
The Carlin Park Lifeguard Building-Interior Renovations (RE-BID) project is initiated by the Capital Improvements Division of Palm Beach County. The goal of this contract is to renovate the interior of the Lifeguard Building located at 400 South A1A, Jupiter, FL. This project falls under the Annual Contract - Minor Construction, aimed at enhancing public facilities and ensuring they meet current standards.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all materials, labor, supervision, permits, and supplies necessary for the renovation of the Lifeguard Building's interior. Specific tasks include:

- Replacing vinyl flooring throughout;
- Patching and painting interior walls;
- Replacing kitchen cabinets (Kohler 33” model, 9” depth, stainless steel);
- Replacing kitchen countertops;
- Replacing kitchen sink, valves, and faucets;
- Replacing bathroom plumbing valves while keeping the vanity;
- Remodeling the bathroom including toilet, tub, and wall tile replacement;
- Providing attic stock consisting of two unopened boxes of vinyl flooring and two boxes of restroom tiles.

The contractor must also coordinate work with an asbestos abatement contractor hired separately.

Period of Performance
The contractor must substantially complete the work within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed issued by the Owner.

The renovations will take place at Carlin Park located at 400 South A1A, Jupiter, FL.
