The City of Dallas, through its Department of Aviation, is seeking to enhance operational decision-making at Dallas Love Field Airport by procuring advanced weather forecast technology. This initiative aims to improve safety and efficiency in airport operations by providing tailored weather forecasts and alerts specific to the airport's needs.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of a comprehensive weather forecasting service that includes:
- An online interface for easy access to airport-specific forecasts, current radar, weather alerts, and conditions.
- Up-to-the-minute forecasting capabilities covering various weather phenomena such as lightning detection, thunderstorms, rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, high winds, and extreme temperatures.
- Alerts for critical weather conditions including temperature extremes and precipitation types within a defined vicinity of the airport.
- A consulting forum for ongoing meteorological support and inquiries.
- Surface temperature monitoring and runway temperature forecasts.
- The ability to create customized weather alerts based on predefined parameters for both current and forecasted conditions.
- A mobile application for receiving alerts and monitoring weather updates on smartphones.
Additionally, the service must include 24/7 consulting with meteorologists and provide animated weather briefings as well as post-event evaluations.

Period of Performance
The contract is intended to last for one year from the date of award.

Services will be performed at Dallas Love Field Airport in Dallas, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Certificate of Insurance demonstrating coverage for General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Workers Compensation/Employers Liability Insurance. The City of Dallas must be listed as a certificate holder on this insurance policy.
