Burt Reynolds Park Grounds - Roof Repair Buildings 5 & 7(REB

Background
The project is initiated by the Capital Improvements Division of Palm Beach County, aimed at repairing the roofs of Buildings 5 and 7 at Burt Reynolds Park. The goal is to ensure the integrity and functionality of the roofing systems, which are critical for protecting the facilities from weather-related damage. This project falls under the Annual Contract for Roofing, which outlines the general terms and conditions applicable to roofing work within the county.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to remove and replace damaged standing seam roofing panels. Specific tasks include:

1) Inspecting and identifying damaged panels;
2) Removing damaged panels;
3) Installing new A1300 Series standing seam aluminum .040 roofing panels that match existing materials;
4) Replacing any damaged flashing or accessories such as ridge caps and hip caps.

The work must comply with manufacturer's recommendations and applicable codes. Liquidated damages of $120 per day will apply for delays beyond the stipulated completion time.

Period of Performance
The contractor must substantially complete the work within ninety (90) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed issued by the owner.

The work will be performed at Burt Reynolds Park located at 805 N. U.S. Hwy 1, Jupiter, FL.
