Building Materials And Related Items

Background
This Request to Qualify (RTQ) is issued by Miami-Dade County to establish a Prequalified Pool of Vendors for the procurement of building materials and related items. The goal is to ensure that vendors meet the qualifications necessary to supply various building materials as needed by the County.

This pool will facilitate future spot market competitions for specific goods and services required by the County.

Work Details
Vendors in the pool will be expected to furnish and deliver a variety of building materials, including but not limited to:
1. Lumber
2. Doors
3. Metals (Steel, Stainless Steel, galvanized, aluminum, etc.)
4. Hardware
5. Cement
6. Plaster
7. Roofing materials
8. Sheetrock
9. Fasteners
10. Paint and related items
11. Partitions
12. Pipes and Fittings
13. Glass
14. Flooring (including carpet)
15. Acrylic and Polymer Sheets
16. Acrylic Barriers/Plexiglass
17. Other building materials not elsewhere included.

Period of Performance
The prequalified pool will be established on the first calendar day of the month succeeding approval by the Board of County Commissioners and will remain active for a term of five years.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed within Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must provide two professional references demonstrating their experience in providing building materials, indicate the category of materials they offer, and supply contact information for designated representatives available for support.
