Work Details
The contract involves leasing up to forty (40) AMC Model 2700 juice extractors. These extractors will be utilized in processing plants throughout Florida to extract, evaluate, and determine the percent of total soluble solids per pound on delivered citrus. The AMC 2700 juice extractor is specified for testing the maturity of delivered citrus loads as per Chapter 20-34.001 (2), F.A.C. The lease of these extractors will maintain control over statewide testing procedures, ensuring that testing results are consistent across the industry. The cost for leasing these juice extractors will be reimbursed by individual processing plants.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed from the date of execution through June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The juice extractors will be located in processing plants throughout the state of Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Brown International Corporation, LLC holds Patent #3185071 and #3280726 for the AMC Model 2700 juice extractor, which is necessary for this procurement as there is no known equivalent machine available from other vendors.
