Background
The City of Jacksonville, Florida, through the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO), is seeking bids for the supply of body armor, systems, and carriers. This solicitation aims to establish a contract for the provision of these essential items to support law enforcement operations. The goal is to ensure that JSO has access to high-quality protective equipment that meets specified standards.

Work Details
Bidders are required to provide body armor, systems, and carriers as outlined in the bid documents. The award will be made by group to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s). Bidders must submit offers for all items in a group to be considered for that group. Specific requirements include:

- Delivery of items to the JSO Police Supply Unit at 501 East Bay Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
- All deliveries must include packing slips with relevant purchase order numbers.
- Samples may need to be delivered as specified in the bid documents.
- Compliance with specifications and requirements detailed in attached documents is mandatory.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will be one year, with two optional one-year renewals subject to approval by both the supplier and the City of Jacksonville.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed primarily at the JSO Police Supply Unit located at 501 East Bay Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally authorized to conduct business in Duval County and comply with all local business licensing requirements. They must also provide proof of applicable licenses and certifications. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to participate in the Equal Business Opportunity Program aimed at enhancing participation from Jacksonville Small and Emerging Businesses (JSEBs). Insurance coverage as specified in the bid documents is required.
