Bleacher Seating System Replacement Project - SSMS

Background
The District School Board of Pasco County is issuing this bid to establish a contract for the purchase and installation of a telescopic bleacher seating system at Seven Springs Middle School. The objective is to remove and replace the existing bleacher seating system to ensure public safety. This project aims to enhance the facilities at the school, aligning with the District's mission to provide quality education and safe environments for students.

Work Details
The work under this contract includes:
1) Removal of the existing bleacher seating system;
2) Installation of a new telescopic bleacher seating system;
3) Provision of all necessary labor, materials, equipment, protection, and services required for the replacement;
4) Compliance with safety regulations throughout the project;
5) Submission of professional engineer signed and stamped drawings to the District’s Building Official;
6) Coordination with District’s Construction Services Department for obtaining permits and inspections.

Period of Performance
The anticipated timeline for this project includes a mandatory pre-bid meeting on February 17, 2026, with a response deadline set for March 17, 2026. The work is expected to commence shortly after award notification on April 14, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Seven Springs Middle School located at 2441 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL 34655.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed contractors in Florida and provide proof of insurance coverage. They are required to submit a current W-9 form, an occupational/business license, and a contractor license issued by the State of Florida. Additionally, bidders must include a plan of execution detailing how they will fulfill the scope of work along with warranty information on products and workmanship.
