Background
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by the St. Lucie Public Schools (SLPS) to establish an agreement with a beverage company for Beverage Vending Services across SLPS schools and departments. The goal is to provide an exclusive beverage product line through vending machines, which includes carbonated beverages, non-carbonated beverages, fruit juices, sports drinks, and bottled water. Work Details
The selected contractor will provide the following services:
- Supply of an exclusive product line of beverages including carbonated drinks, non-carbonated drinks, fruit juices, sports drinks, and bottled water.
- Installation of vending machines in designated school locations.
- Regular restocking and maintenance of vending machines, including a guaranteed response time for repairs.
- Provision of monthly itemized reports detailing revenue and commissions by school or district site.
- Optional provision of snack items in compliance with Board policies.
Period of Performance
The initial contract period is three (3) years with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the St. Lucie Public Schools district in Florida.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be licensed in the State of Florida and provide proof of their current license or certificate. Additionally, bidders must comply with the Jessica Lunsford Act regarding background screenings for employees who will have access to school property when students are present.
