Benefits Consulting and Actuarial Services

Background
The School Board of Lee County is seeking proposals for Benefits Consulting and Actuarial Services to support its mission of providing quality education to approximately 99,300 pre-K-12 students across the county. The goal of this contract is to engage a qualified consultant who can deliver comprehensive benefits consulting and actuarial services as outlined in the detailed specifications.

Work Details
The selected consultant will be responsible for providing a range of services including but not limited to:
- Analysis of current employee benefits programs and recommendations for improvements.
- Actuarial services related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Development of cost projections and financial modeling for proposed benefits changes.
- Compliance assistance with federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits.
- Support in the design and implementation of new benefit programs.
- Regular reporting on trends in employee benefits and recommendations for adjustments based on market conditions.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon Board approval and will remain in effect for a period defined in the detailed specifications, with an option for renewal or extension as mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Lee County, Florida, as required by the School Board.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to public entity crimes as per Florida Statute 287.133. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the Euna Procurement Platform by authorized representatives. Additionally, bidders must certify that they are not on the Scrutinized Companies that Boycott Israel List.
