Asphalt Paving Services

Background
Broward College, part of the Florida College System, is seeking proposals for asphalt paving services to support its mission of providing higher education and vocational training to the residents of Broward County, Florida. The College operates multiple campuses and aims to establish a term contract for these services to enhance its facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide asphalt paving services across various campus locations as specified in the solicitation. This includes but is not limited to: resurfacing existing asphalt, repairing damaged areas, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.

The contractor must demonstrate a strong track record in similar projects, with at least five years of field experience and ten years of completed projects within the last five years. The detailed scope of work is outlined in Attachment A of the RFP.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will last for three years, with options for renewal for three additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Broward College locations including but not limited to: Hugh Adams Central Campus, North Campus, Judson A. Samuels South Campus, and other specified sites within Broward County.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be legally licensed to perform asphalt paving services in Florida. They must also provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in Section 3.9, including general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and workers' compensation insurance.

Proposers must disclose any conflicts of interest as per Chapter 112, Florida Statutes.
