Background
The University of North Florida Board of Trustees (UNF or University) is issuing a competitive solicitation for the services of a qualified Mechanical Contractor or General Contractor. The purpose of this ITB is to enable UNF to enter into an agreement with a Contractor or Contractors to complete the installation of new boilers at the activated Arena Central Utility Plant located at Building 36 on the UNF campus, 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32224. The Cost of the Work will be supplied, in whole or in part, from federal funds, specifically, from Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery (CSFR) funds.
Work Details
The scope of work includes all labor, materials, and supervision to complete the installation of new boilers at the activated Arena Central Utility Plant on UNF campus per the provided construction documents. The work should be performed during the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday. Work may be authorized at night, on weekends, and over holidays as required.
Period of Performance
Substantial completion shall be achieved within 60 calendar days of the notice to proceed.
Final completion shall be achieved within 15 calendar days of substantial completion.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Building 36 on the UNF campus, 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32224.
