Background
The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority (Authority) is an independent special district established in 1945, governed by the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority Act. The Authority has exclusive jurisdiction over all publicly-owned airports in Hillsborough County, including Tampa International Airport and three general aviation airports.
Tampa International Airport serves as a major economic driver for the region, handling over 25 million passengers annually and recognized for its excellence in service. The Authority is seeking qualified firms to provide Airport Consultant Services to support ongoing and future projects, including a new terminal expected to be completed in 2028.
Work Details
The selected Respondent will provide comprehensive Airport Consultant Services as detailed in Attachment A of the Sample Contract. This includes but is not limited to:
- Project management
- Planning and design services for airport facilities
- Compliance with FAA regulations
- Stakeholder engagement
- Assistance with funding applications
The consultant will also oversee construction projects and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Period of Performance
The contract term is from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030, with an option for one additional year at the discretion of the CEO.
Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed at Tampa International Airport and may extend to other general aviation airports managed by the Authority.
