Air Compressor Preventative Maintenance and Repair

Background
Volusia County Water Resources & Utilities is seeking competitive bids for a contractor to provide regularly scheduled preventive maintenance services and repairs on air compressors located at three wastewater treatment plants: Southeast WWTP, Southwest WWTP, and Deltona North WWTP. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning of air compressors through timely maintenance and repairs, thereby supporting the county's mission to manage water resources effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the required preventive maintenance and repairs on air compressors at the specified wastewater treatment plants. This includes but is not limited to:
- Regular inspections
- Servicing of compressors
- Emergency repairs outside of scheduled maintenance
- Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for an initial term of three (3) years with the option for two (2) additional one-year renewals, contingent upon mutual agreement and approval by the County Council.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at three locations in Volusia County: Southeast WWTP, Southwest WWTP, and Deltona North WWTP.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including:
- Workers Compensation coverage as per Florida Statutory Coverage
- Commercial General Liability with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate
- Auto Liability with a combined single limit of $500,000. Bidders must also provide a thirty (30) days written notice of cancellation to the County. Additionally, bidders should have experience in similar projects within the last three years and provide references.
