Air Charter Services

Background
The University of North Florida (UNF), a public body corporate, is seeking proposals for Charter Air Services from experienced, financially sound, safe, and responsible contractors. The goal of this contract is to provide charter air transportation for various groups, teams, and organizations on an as-needed basis.

Work Details
Contractors will be required to provide Charter Air Services that meet the diverse needs and sizes of transportation requests. The University intends to qualify more than one contractor based on their ability to meet the specifications outlined in the proposal. Each qualified contractor will later be invited to provide pricing per trip on an as-needed basis once they have proven they meet the requirements stated in this RFQ.

It is important to note that qualifying under this contract does not guarantee any purchase of service at any time. Contractors must work independently of all parties associated with or employed by UNF, including members of the Selection Committee. The contractor must begin providing services on the date stated in the Special Conditions and upon execution of a contract or purchase order.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon final execution and will have an initial term of five (5) years, with an option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods based on satisfactory performance and mutual written approval.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed as needed, with specific locations determined by the requirements of each trip.
