Commodity or Service Required: Purchase of Accela Software Service Description: Lee County Department of Community Development seeks to execute a single-source procurement for the Accela Software cloud-based platform for permitting, licensing, and code enforcement software solutions by Accela, Inc. This platform allows for efficiency and transparency in community development activities and also serves as one of the county's record management solutions. Intended Single Source: Accela, Inc. Justification for Single Source Acquisition: Accela, Inc. is the owner and software manufacturer of Accela Software products and services, is the sole source provider of technical support and maintenance for all Accela products & services. Recommended Procurement Approach: For the reason(s) stated above, Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the Single Source Procure-ment method to purchase from Accela, Inc. to supply the above.
