A&E Services Misc. Park Improvements (West) Annual Contract

Background
The City of Jacksonville is seeking proposals from contractors to provide professional services related to engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, planning, environmental assessment, geotechnical services, surveying, and environmental permitting. The goal of this contract is to facilitate miscellaneous improvements in existing or new parks located within the City of Jacksonville, specifically west of Interstate I-95 from the Fuller Warren Bridge north and west of the St. Johns River from the Fuller Warren Bridge south.

Typical improvements include general site enhancements such as restrooms, playscapes, lighting, landscaping, signage, sidewalks, multi-use paths and trails, basketball courts, fencing, sports fields, parking lots, and new buildings or building improvements including mechanical and security systems.

Work Details
Contractors will provide a range of professional services including:
- Engineering
- Architecture
- Landscape architecture
- Planning
- Environmental assessment
- Geotechnical services
- Surveying
- Environmental permitting

Specific tasks may involve:
- General site improvements
- Design and construction of restrooms and playscapes
- Installation of lighting and landscaping
- Development of signage and sidewalks
- Construction of multi-use paths and trails
- Building sports fields and parking lots.

Each project will have a detailed scope of services negotiated with the City upon request. Services will be authorized through separate Purchase Orders that specify maximum fees for each project.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed annually with specific projects initiated through Purchase Orders as needed throughout the year.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the City of Jacksonville, specifically in parks located west of Interstate I-95 from the Fuller Warren Bridge north and west of the St. Johns River from the Fuller Warren Bridge south.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally authorized to conduct business in Duval County and comply with all minimum requirements for this bid. They must provide proof of applicable local business licenses and demonstrate experience on similar projects. Additionally, bidders must certify that no official or employee of the City has a material financial interest in their company.
