Background
The City of Daytona Beach is soliciting responses for the construction of a new boat dock at Halifax Harbor Marina. The project aims to enhance the marina facilities by providing three covered boat slips, each equipped with a 20,000 lbs lift, along with necessary utilities and security features. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for constructing a new boat dock that includes:

- Three 20,000 lbs lifts
- Power/water pedestals
- Lighting
- Sidewalk access

- Dock storage.
The total project area is approximately 5,000 square feet, situated along 3,059 linear feet of shoreline owned by the City.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold an active Florida General Contractor Certified Marine Building Contractor license for a minimum of ten years prior to submission. They must also provide proof of required licensure with their bid submission. Additionally, bidders are required to submit bid security equal to 10% of their bid amount in the form of a bid bond or other acceptable forms such as certified checks or money orders.
