25-010 Design-Build For Solar PV Project Development at Bayview Community Center

Background
The City of Pensacola, Florida, is seeking proposals from professional design-build teams with experience in providing turnkey services for the design, engineering, permitting, installation, and interconnection of a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the Bayview Community Center.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the sustainability and energy efficiency of the facility through the implementation of solar energy solutions.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Design and engineering of a rooftop solar PV system tailored to the specifications of the Bayview Community Center.
2. Obtaining all necessary permits and approvals for installation.
3. Installation of the solar PV system on the roof of the community center.
4. Interconnection of the solar PV system to the existing electrical grid.
5. Providing a performance guarantee for the installed system that aligns with maximizing return on investment (ROI).
6. Offering a workmanship warranty for a period of five years.
7. Including costs related to removal and reinstallation of the system upon new roofing if necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe that aligns with project milestones outlined in the proposal schedule.
