Background
The City of Pensacola is seeking professional Architecture and Engineering (A&E) Consulting Firms to assist with the Fricker Resource Center Renovation Project. This project aims to repair and enhance the facility, which serves as a community disaster response center and provides various social and recreational resources.

The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program and the Multifamily Preservation and Creation Fund (MPCF) from Florida Commerce, necessitating compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Fricker Resource Center has been a vital asset for the community, particularly after sustaining damage from Hurricane Sally in September 2020.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Architectural Design: Develop plans, conceptual designs, and detailed drawings for renovations, including provisions for solar roof panels.
2. Engineering Analysis: Ensure structural safety through detailed MEP design and analysis.
3. Site Development: Conduct civil engineering tasks such as site grading and stormwater management.
4. Landscape Architecture: Design outdoor spaces for enhanced functionality.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and timely submission for permits.
6. Construction Oversight: Administer construction to ensure compliance with design specifications.
7. Demolition of the existing single-story social hall to construct a two-story multipurpose space that includes a senior center.
8. Renovation of existing facilities including roofing, restrooms, kitchen, and playgrounds to exceed ADA compliance.
9. Expansion of stormwater treatment facilities and parking capabilities on-site.

Period of Performance
The project timeline spans from October 2024 to December 2026, with various phases including planning, design, inspections, demolition, construction activities, and project closeout.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Fricker Resource Center located at 900 N F Street, Pensacola, Florida.
