2025 Citywide Lift Station Inspection, Maintenance and Repair

Background
The City of Jacksonville, Florida, is issuing a solicitation for the 2025 Citywide Lift Station Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of lift stations across the city, which are critical for wastewater management. The contract aims to provide comprehensive services including inspection, maintenance, and emergency repairs to support the city's infrastructure.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Installation, maintenance, inspection, biennial cleaning, and regular repair services for lift stations as specified in Attachment A.
2. Conducting monthly inspections at each site to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
3. Providing a schedule for biennial cleaning within 60 days of receiving the purchase order.
4. Submitting invoices for services performed every 15 days for individual services and every 30 days for monthly inspections along with required documentation (checklists).
5. Responding to emergency service requests within two hours of notification from the City.
6. Ensuring all work complies with applicable state and municipal codes, including FDEP and DOH regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on October 1, 2025, and will be a three-year contract with an option for one additional year renewal.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various lift station locations throughout Jacksonville, Florida as specified in Attachment A.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have:
1. A valid local business license if located within Duval County.
2. Proof of certification as a wastewater facility operator or similar qualifications.
3. Workers Compensation and Comprehensive Liability Insurance.
4. A staffed office located in Duval County during normal business hours with emergency service available 24/7.
5. At least four certified wastewater operators on staff.
6. Evidence of ownership of necessary equipment such as service trucks and boom trucks.
