Support to Alternative School Leader Preparation Programs

Background
The State of Delaware Department of Education is seeking professional services to accelerate the work of ensuring leaders are 'day-one ready' and looks for existing preparation programs that offer scalable approaches to world-class leader preparation. The Department seeks partners who can create innovative and results-driven approaches to educational leadership training. This request for proposals ('RFP') is issued pursuant to 29 Del. C. §§ 6981 and 6982.

Work Details
The contract involves providing support to alternative school leader preparation programs. The scope of services includes the acceleration of leader preparation programs, seeking partners who can create innovative and results-driven approaches to educational leadership training, and ensuring leaders are 'day-one ready'.
The proposed schedule of events subject to the RFP includes public notice, pre-bid meeting, deadline for questions, response to questions, deadline for receipt of proposals, and estimated notification of award.

Period of Performance
The term of the contract between the successful bidder and the State shall be for two (2) years with three (3) optional extensions for a period of one (1) year for each extension.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Delaware.
