Plummer Community Correction Center-Herron Building Bath/Shower Renovation

Background
The State of Delaware, through the Office of Management and Budget, Division of Facilities Management, is issuing a contract for the renovation of the Herron Building Bath/Shower facilities at the Plummer Community Correction Center.

The project aims to enhance the existing multi-person toilet and shower rooms to meet modern standards and improve functionality.

Work Details
The project involves extensive renovations including:
- Demolition of interior masonry walls
- Plumbing fixtures
- HVAC and electrical fixtures
- Installation of new metal stud walls
- Application of stainless steel wall panels
- Installation of continuously welded hygienic vinyl wall covering
- Epoxy resin flooring systems
- New electrical, mechanical, and plumbing fixtures & devices.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and is projected to be completed by June 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Plummer Community Correction Center located at 38 Todds Lane, Wilmington, DE 19802.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on July 30, 2025. Each bid must include a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount.

The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract price upon execution. Bidders are encouraged to submit bids from Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE), and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VOBE).
