District-wide Roofing Repair Services

Background
The Christina School District in the State of Delaware is seeking proposals for District Wide Roofing Repair Services. The goal of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a vendor or vendors capable of providing comprehensive roofing repair services across various types of roofing systems used within the district. This initiative is part of the district's commitment to maintaining safe and functional school facilities.

Work Details
The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform roofing repairs throughout the Christina School District. The scope includes small to large repairs on district-wide roofing, drains, façades, rain gutters, flashing, and any other roof-related repairs.

The vendor must have in-house staff capable of performing these repairs without subcontracting. After completing repairs, the vendor will conduct flood tests on repaired areas to ensure leaks have been effectively addressed. Detailed technical requirements are outlined in Appendix A and pricing must be provided as per Appendix B.

Period of Performance
The contract will be valid for three (3) years from a start date to be determined (TBD), with options for two additional one-year renewals through negotiation. The district reserves the right to extend the contract on a month-to-month basis for up to three months after the initial term.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed within the facilities of the Christina School District located in Bear, Delaware.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must provide proof of State of Delaware Business Licensure prior to receiving an award. Additionally, subcontracting is not permitted under this RFP. Vendors must also meet mandatory insurance requirements including general liability and workers' compensation insurance.
