Customs House Renovation and Addition

Background
The Customs House Renovation and Addition project is being undertaken at 516 N. King St, Wilmington, DE 19801. The project aims to renovate and expand the existing Customs House to enhance its functionality and preserve its historical significance. The contract is issued by the State of Delaware, focusing on compliance with public works standards and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete renovation and addition to the Customs House, which includes but is not limited to:

1. Execution of all work as per the Contract Documents, including plans, specifications, and related documents.
2. Ensuring that all materials used are new and of good quality unless otherwise specified.
3. Compliance with all local laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, and lawful orders of public authorities.
4. Implementation of an Employee Drug Testing Program as per OMB Regulation 4104.
5. Maintenance of safety precautions and programs throughout the project duration.
6. Supervision of all work performed by subcontractors to ensure they are qualified for their respective tasks.
7. Submission of a complete schedule of values within twenty (20) days after receiving notice to proceed with the work.
8. Management of waste materials and rubbish removal from the site upon project completion.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is set to begin upon receipt of a bona fide State of Delaware Purchase Order and is expected to be completed by November 22, 2024.
