Design-Build Services for Anacostia Recreation Center Pool Replacement

Scope of Work:
The District of Columbia is seeking qualified design-build firms to provide comprehensive services for the replacement of the pool at Anacostia Recreation Center. The selected Design-Builder (Contractor) will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including but not limited to:

• Designing a new pool facility that meets all applicable codes and standards
• Demolishing the existing pool structure as necessary
• Constructing the replacement pool and associated amenities
• Coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring minimal disruption to the recreation center's operations
• Delivering the project within the specified timeline and budget

Requesting Agency:
This solicitation is issued by the District of Columbia Department of General Services (DGS).

Background:
The Anacostia Recreation Center, located in Ward 8 at 1800 Anacostia Drive SE, Washington, DC 20020, requires a replacement of its existing pool facility to better serve the community and meet current standards.

Contract Requirements:
Offerors must submit design-build proposals that address all aspects of the pool replacement project. Proposals should demonstrate the Offeror's experience, approach, and ability to complete the project as specified in the RFP.
