Construction Services for MPD Compartmented Access Area in Marion Barry Building

Scope of Work:
The District of Columbia is seeking a qualified General Contractor to provide comprehensive construction services for the creation of a compartmented access area for the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). The work must be performed at the Marion S. Barry, Jr. Building, located at 441 4th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001. All construction activities are to be executed in strict accordance with the attached Drawings (Attachment A) and Specifications (Attachment B).

Soliciting Agency:
This solicitation is issued by the District of Columbia Department of General Services (DGS).

Background:
The Department of General Services is initiating this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to support the Metropolitan Police Department's operational needs by constructing a secure, compartmented access area within the Marion S. Barry, Jr. Building.

Contract Requirements:
- All work must comply with the provided Drawings (Attachment A) and Specifications (Attachment B).
- The construction services are to be delivered at the specified project location.
- The selected Contractor must be a qualified General Contractor firm.
