Background
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) was established in 1967 to operate a balanced regional transportation system in the National Capital area. Work Details
The contractor will conduct the 2026 Metrobus Passenger Survey, which includes: preparing survey materials, recruiting and training staff, distributing printed questionnaires, collecting responses, helping customers enter data into mobile devices, implementing quality control procedures, entering data into a database, performing edit checks for data quality, and documenting survey results.
The survey will utilize three methods:
- Method #1 involves distributing paper surveys;
- Method #2 involves staff using tablets to collect responses;
- Method #3 is a hybrid approach combining both methods.
The survey will be conducted between April 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026.
