Wireless Telecommunications Consulting Services

Background
The University of Connecticut (UConn) is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified providers of wireless telecommunication consulting services. The goal of this contract is to assist UConn in managing multiple wireless telecommunication agreements effectively, ensuring optimal terms and conditions for the university's interests.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide consulting services that include:
- Managing and advising on existing wireless telecommunications agreements.
- Negotiating favorable terms with wireless providers.
- Evaluating current installations.
- Developing strategies to enhance revenue from these agreements.

The contractor will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating unfavorable terms within existing contracts and supporting lease or license buyouts as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue for a duration specified in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The expected performance period will extend through the life of the agreements managed.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed at UConn's various campuses across Connecticut. Potential engagements may involve other locations as required by the university's telecommunications needs.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate relevant experience in wireless telecommunications consulting, particularly with institutions of higher education or large property owners. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to be certified as Small (SBE), Minority-Owned (MBE), Woman-Owned (WBE), or businesses owned by persons with disabilities (DisBE) by the State of Connecticut’s Department of Administrative Services. Compliance with all applicable state ethics laws is mandatory.
