Description

THE PROPOSED WORK GENERALLY CONSISTS OF THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE WILLIMANTIC WHITEWATER PARK. IMPROVEMENTS WILL INCLUDE NEW PATHWAYS, PAVED PARKING AREA, FENCING, PLANTINGS, AND EXISTING BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS A MANDATORY SITE WALK WILL BE HELD ON AUGUST 5, 2025 @ 10:00 A.M. AT SITE (28 BRIDGE STREET, WILLIMANTIC, CT)
Background
The Town of Windham is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the reconstruction of the Willimantic Whitewater Park.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the park facilities to better serve the community and improve recreational opportunities.

Work Details
The proposed work generally consists of the reconstruction of the Willimantic Whitewater Park.
Improvements will include:
- New pathways
- A paved parking area
- Fencing
- Plantings
- Existing building improvements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from July 25, 2025, to August 22, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Willimantic Whitewater Park, located at 28 Bridge Street, Willimantic, CT.

Bidder Requirements
A mandatory site walk will be held on August 5, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the project site.
