The scope of work consists of the full replacement of traffic signal equipment at the intersection of South Street at Rocky Hill Avenue and Roosevelt Street in New Britain. Furthermore, the work includes construction of ADA compliant sidewalk ramps and crosswalks, installation of pavement markings and signs, maintenance and protection of traffic during construction and the maintenance of vehicular and pedestrian access to abutting properties and, unless otherwise directed by the Engineer, uninterrupted and acceptable operation at all times.
Background
The City of New Britain is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Traffic Control Signal Replacement project at the intersection of South Street at Rocky Hill Avenue and Roosevelt Street.
The goal of this contract is to enhance traffic safety and accessibility in the area by replacing outdated traffic signal equipment and ensuring compliance with ADA standards.

Work Details
