Town of Willington RFP To Provide OPM Services for Preschool-Grade 8 School

Background
The Town of Willington is seeking proposals for owner's project management services to assist in the grant application and administration, building and site design, and construction of a new consolidated Preschool-grade 8 school.
This initiative aligns with the town's mission to enhance educational facilities for its community.

Work Details
The selected Project Architect Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:
1) Establishing a project management system for scope, schedule, and budget control; conducting regular status meetings with Board of Education (BOE) staff;
2) Preparing a Design Concept Report (DCR) that includes conceptual plans, methodology, alternatives, and preliminary cost estimates;
3) Developing detailed design and construction documents based on BOE approvals;
4) Providing bidding assistance including attending pre-bid meetings and responding to inquiries;
5) Offering construction phase services as needed, which may include project administration, inspection, quality control testing, and preparation of Record Drawings.
Deliverables include monthly status reports, meeting minutes, detailed design documents, bid documents, and final design reports.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from January 30, 2026 to February 25, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Willington, Connecticut.
