Description

The Project Description: 1. This project includes the installation of a new 200kW/250KVA stand-by generator unit, This including civil works, generator and electrical distribution within the building. 2. The scope also includes the relocation of select loads from the Normal to the new Stand-by distribution system. 3. This Project Does Not Exceed the Threshold limits as defined by the Connecticut General Statutes. 4. The Authorities Having Jurisdiction for Threshold Projects, Non-Threshold Projects, as defined by the Connecticut General Statutes, are the Connecticut Military Department, Office of State Building Inspector (OSBI) and Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM).
Background
The State of Connecticut Military Department is issuing this solicitation for the installation of a standby generator unit as part of their ongoing efforts to ensure operational readiness and reliability in power supply.

The project aims to enhance the infrastructure by providing a new 200kW/250KVA generator unit, which will support critical operations within the facility.

Work Details
1. Installation of a new 200kW/250KVA standby generator unit, including all necessary civil works and electrical distribution within the building.

2. Relocation of select loads from the Normal distribution system to the new Stand-by distribution system.
