Roadway Reconstruction / Drainage and Miscellaneous Work at Various Locations

Background
The City of Bristol is issuing this contract for roadway reconstruction, drainage, and miscellaneous work at various locations within the city. The goal of this contract is to provide these services on an as-needed basis, ensuring compliance with state contract requirements including non-discrimination statutes and set-aside requirements as mandated by Public Act 15-5.

A minimum of 25% of the state-funded portion of the contract must be allocated to subcontractors certified by the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. Contractors are required to demonstrate a good faith effort to meet these set-aside goals.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for performing roadway reconstruction and drainage work at various locations throughout the City of Bristol. Specific tasks may include but are not limited to: repairing or replacing road surfaces, improving drainage systems, and executing miscellaneous construction tasks as needed.

The work will be performed on an as-needed basis, with no specific line items designated in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on February 11, 2025, at 7:30 AM EST and conclude on February 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM EST.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations within the City of Bristol, Connecticut.
