Rentschler Field Roof Replacement

Background
The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Rentschler Field Tower Roof Replacement project. The agency's mission includes enhancing the economic vitality of the region. This project aims to ensure the structural integrity and functionality of the roofing system at Rentschler Field, a significant venue in East Hartford.

Work Details
The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing roofing system, which includes:
- Membrane
- Insulation
- Flashings
- Drains
- Decking
- Roof accessories.
Additionally, a new TPO membrane system will be installed, which includes:
- Insulation
- Metal trim
- Drainage components.
The scope also covers the installation of new roof walkways and ladders. All demolished materials will be disposed of offsite. The work must adhere to all specifications outlined in the Project Drawings and Project Manual.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on April 28, 2025, and is expected to conclude by May 22, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Rentschler Field located at 615 Silver Lane, East Hartford, Connecticut.

Bidder Requirements
All vendors are eligible to respond to this bid. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 2, 2025, at Rentschler Field.
