On-Call Property Maintenance Services

Background
The City of West Haven is issuing ITB# 2026-03 for On-Call Property Maintenance Services. The goal of this contract is to secure qualified contractors who can provide property maintenance services on an as-needed basis to support the city's operations.

Work Details
Contractors will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the following services:

- Landscaping maintenance (including pulling weeds, trimming, and light debris removal)
- Removal and disposal of bulk items during evictions or property cleanouts
- General cleanup and organization of interior and exterior spaces
- Transportation and relocation of items as directed by the City
- Miscellaneous odd jobs and property maintenance tasks as assigned.

Contractors must respond within 2 hours for premium service requests and within 1 hour during normal business hours.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from the date of award until the completion of services as specified in individual task orders issued by the City.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City of West Haven.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must have a valid Connecticut business license throughout the solicitation process. They must provide a minimum of three professional references with contact information and a brief description of services provided. A comprehensive hourly rate and expense schedule outlining all applicable costs must also be included. Insurance requirements include:

- Commercial General Liability
- Business Auto/Commercial Auto Insurance
- Workers Compensation/Employers Liability Insurance
- Umbrella Liability/Excess Liability with specific minimum limits.
