On-Call Emergency Line-Stop and Insertion Valve Contractor

The City of Waterbury, Bureau of Water, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on-call emergency line-stop and insertion valve services. The selected contractor will be responsible for performing these specialized services across a full spectrum of pipe sizes, as needed and directed by Bureau of Water staff.

The request for these services is being issued by the City of Waterbury, Bureau of Water.

This contract is intended to ensure that the Bureau of Water has reliable access to emergency line-stop and insertion valve services, which are critical for maintaining and repairing water infrastructure throughout the city.

Contract requirements include:

• On-call availability to perform emergency line-stop and insertion valve services
• Capability to work with a full range of pipe sizes
• All work to be performed under the direction of Bureau of Water staff

There will be a mandatory Information Session regarding this RFP on April 24, 2026, at 10:00am, located at 21 East Aurora Street, Waterbury, CT 06706. Attendance and on-time sign-in at the Information Session is mandatory. Those who are late or do not attend will not be eligible to submit a proposal.
