Description

The City of Norwich is requesting proposals for professional services for the design, permitting and installation of an upgraded fuel system for the Marina at American Wharf located at 1 American Wharf Norwich, CT 06360. Funding for this project has been made available through a recent CT DECD Community Investment Fund 2030 grant award with a goal of restoring gasoline and diesel service to the marina before the start of the 2025 boating season. The current fuel system at the marina has been out of service for several years and is no longer operable, we are looking for a qualified Design-Build Contractor to secure necessary permits through all authorities having jurisdiction including but not limited to DEEP (if applicable) and the City of Norwich and to design, purchase, install and commission a new refueling system.
Background
The City of Norwich is seeking proposals for professional services to design, permit, and install an upgraded fuel system for the Marina at American Wharf, located at 1 American Wharf, Norwich, CT 06360.

This project is funded through a CT DECD Community Investment Fund 2030 grant aimed at restoring gasoline and diesel service to the marina before the start of the 2025 boating season. The existing fuel system has been non-operational for several years.

Work Details
The selected Design-Build Contractor will be responsible for securing all necessary permits from relevant authorities, including but not limited to DEEP and the City of Norwich.

The contractor will also design, purchase, install, and commission a new refueling system that meets current operational standards.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence on December 12, 2024, and conclude by January 21, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Marina at American Wharf located in Norwich, Connecticut.
