Flood Protection Project - Water Pollution Control Facility

Background
The Town of Stratford is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Flood Protection Project at the Water Pollution Control Facility.
The project aims to enhance flood protection measures in the area, which is critical for safeguarding local infrastructure and the environment.

Work Details
The work will include the following tasks:
- Removal of existing stone riprap;
- Excavation to a depth of approximately 3-4 feet;
- Drilling of micropiles;
- Forming and pouring concrete pile caps and concrete walls;
- Placement of fill for an earthen embankment;
- Installation of a gabion wall;
- Reinstallation of stone riprap;
- Restoration of the site.
The total length of flood protection to be constructed is 3,100 linear feet.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on February 4, 2026, and is expected to conclude by March 11, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Water Pollution Control Facility located at 105 Beacon Point Road, Stratford, CT 06615.
