Description

The Town of Stratford (Town) on behalf of its Waterfront and Harbor Management Commission (WHMC) is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors with proven industry experience, to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, and all else necessary, to furnish and install one (1) 10x40 floating dock including timber piles located at the Birdseye Boat Ramp Facility. Installation shall be required prior to 2025 boating season. Refer to attached documents prepared by RACE Coastal Engineering. An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Background
The Town of Stratford, on behalf of its Waterfront and Harbor Management Commission (WHMC), is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors with proven industry experience.

The goal of the contract is to enhance the Birdseye Boat Ramp Facility by installing a new floating dock, which aligns with the Town's mission to improve waterfront access and facilities for boating activities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, and all necessary resources to furnish and install one (1) 10x40 floating dock.

This includes the installation of timber piles at the Birdseye Boat Ramp Facility. The installation must be completed prior to the 2025 boating season. Detailed specifications and requirements are outlined in attached documents prepared by RACE Coastal Engineering.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence after the bid award and must be completed before the start of the 2025 boating season.
