Background
The State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain fiber, internet, and broadband services. The goal is to enhance connectivity through various service categories including dark fiber services, lit fiber services, wireless services, coaxial cable broadband internet services, and optional add-ons. This initiative aims to support the CEN Fiber Ring Project as detailed in the RFP documentation.
Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
(A) dark fiber services,
(B) lit fiber services,
(C) wireless services,
(D) coaxial cable broadband internet services,
(E) optional add-ons.
The contractor must ensure that all equipment and appliances meet or exceed federal energy conservation standards and comply with prevailing wage laws where applicable. Additionally, adherence to established security policies for each requesting Client Agency is required.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on April 08, 2025, and conclude on July 28, 2025.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the State of Connecticut.
Bidder Requirements
All vendors are eligible to respond to this bid. Contractors must provide references from organizations that can discuss their fulfillment of past contract obligations and experience in delivering similar supplies or services. They must also certify compliance with debarment regulations and disclose any criminal convictions or administrative actions against them.
