Engineering Services

Background
The Town of Granby, located in Connecticut, is seeking proposals from licensed professional engineers to support various engineering projects. The goal of this contract is to provide engineering services for the planning, design, and construction of a replacement athletic/running track and adjacent baseball and softball fields at the high school/middle school complex. Additionally, on-call engineering services will be provided for other municipal projects.

Work Details
1) Engineering services for the planning, design, and construction of a replacement athletic/running track and adjacent baseball and softball fields at the high school/middle school complex.

2) On-call engineering services including:
- Construction of a year-round bathroom at Salmon Brook Park;
- Construction of pickleball courts at Salmon Brook Park;
- Assessment and administration of a sewer pump maintenance project;
- Other civil engineering tasks related to municipal capital infrastructure.

The Town will have sole discretion regarding which projects will be assigned to the selected engineering firm.

Period of Performance
The term of the assignment will be five years, during which task-order project work will be performed as needed.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the Town of Granby, Connecticut.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed professional engineers in the State of Connecticut. The awarded respondent must maintain insurance coverage throughout the contract duration, including:
- Workers' compensation insurance;
- Commercial general liability insurance with limits of $1 million per occurrence;
- Automobile liability insurance;
- Excess liability coverage;
- Professional liability insurance with limits of $1 million per occurrence;
- Errors and omissions insurance with minimum limits of $2 million.

The Town must be named as an additional insured on all applicable policies.
